Erin Mahoney, Speaker, Author and Empowerment Advocate, to Lead Nexus Training
Cranston, R.I. – Monday, December 2, 2019—For its final 2019 leadership training, the Women in Leadership Nexus will welcome Speaker, Best-Selling Author and Empowerment Advocate Erin Mahoney, who will walk attendees how to leverage past experiences to charter our most powerful and fulfilling future. Mahoney is the Founder and CEO of Girl Power Go, an empowerment company that serves young women and girls globally. She recently published her third book and best-seller, “Positive Vibes for Women.”
Mahoney’s training, “Experience = Power: Where You’ve Been Leads to Your Most Fulfilling Future,” will take place for the Nexus leadership community on Dec. 17 from 3:30-6 pm at Hotel Providence.

Mahoney’s training will touch on the fact that defining professional and personal moments can be leveraged as strategic tools to achieve big goals, particularly if individuals are able to look at their past with clarity and without judgement. “When we take the most difficult situations and find the success from the lesson, we expand and grow,” says Mahoney. In this experiential workshop, Mahoney will share with Nexus attendees proven strategies for getting crystal clear about their future, letting go of what no longer serves in a positive way, and take action based on proven strategies for success.
Together, attendees will explore a number of concepts such as:
Not allowing their past to define their future
Seeing their stories though a different lens
Deciding what their perspective will be and how it shapes reality
Deciding what kind of leader they want to be and understanding how to show up as that leader
“I know from my journey that vulnerability, authenticity, high integrity and clear communication are key elements to success,” says Mahoney. “I also know that the past has a way of clouding our vision. I help my audience get crystal clear on the past and then teach them how to look at it through a different lens. One that is without judgment, has compassion and finds success in the lessons. Therefore, breaking through blocks and opening you up to grow and expand! My 'Trifecta for Success' consists of self-work, communication and leadership. It is my belief that you can not reach your highest potential without developing all of these areas. We will have fun, we will learn but most importantly we leave with an entirely new perspective on how to hold the past and attack the future with excitement and intention!”
